Whats your "driving to Buffett" song

Post by LonePalm1 »

We were discussing this over in the Chicago thread. Since I am leaving tomorow afternoon for my weekend concert festivities, I got to thinking. What is your driving/leaving for Buffett song? You know, that song that when you get in the car, and you have all your leis, grass skirts, flipflops, coolers packed. You back out of your driveway, and you crank up the music. And you know you are on vacation. (If only for a couple days.)

Everytime I'm pulling into Sea Isle City, NJ, I crank up, Weather is Here, Wish you were Beautiful.

The City works pretty well too though!

Whats your "driving to Buffett" song

Post by MobileGirl »

Mine are: Pascagoula Run, Grapefruit Juicyfruit, and I Will Play for Gumbo...

These three songs sum up my youth:

Born in Mobile..at a young age would make the run to the State Line bar...drank a lot of "juice" at the drive in Mobile out on Gov't Blvd..and finally moved to NOLA for last part of high school and college...and was lucky enough to see Jimmy in his early years at some small venues and "dives"

Have a GREAT time in Chicago ya'll

Probably Grapefruit Juicy Fruit or Migration for vacation. That's a hard one for me because it's hard to seperate "vacation" from everyday surviving the rat race.

Mine would have to be Migration...
I just love singing.....

'Got a caribbean soul I can barely control
And some Texas hidden here in my heart!' :D

And Havana Daydreamin'....just cause it's my
fav Jimmy tune and makes me all happy and
warm and fuzzy inside. :) :) :)
