Well, I just had to start a topic for any other Nissan goer's last night.

The show was absolutley electric last night. Jimmy was as fired up as ever, and the place was literally shaking. What a fantastic show.

Anyone else there and feel the same way?

It was an awesome show! I think Jimmy really enjoys playing to the crowd at Nissan. We had a great time (parking situation notwithstanding -- sucked as usual), but that didn't keep us down! First time on the lawn for us in a few years and it was a blast!

Did anyone by chance record the show last night? I had my computer all set up to record when we left, but the power flashed and my computer rebooted -- no recording! I would love to get a copy if anyone by chance recorded it.

Cheers

Jimmy definetly seemed to be having a blast last night. He seems to really like coming to Nissan, and it shows. His concerts here always have a little more something to them than at other places I've been.

I know I'm in the minority here, but I thought SOMETHING was missing last night. Can't tell you what. Might just have been my mindset - having baked in the parking lot since 12:30. While I liked the covers, I would have had more original Buffett. I also would love to have him do Here we Are live rather than the video.

I think I am getting old - the parking lot WORE me out! We had a hot tub so the 6 kids we had with us were able to keep cool (ish).

I was happy to see the cops being pretty cool about the drinking. Although it was amusing to see a pony keg confiscated.

I didn't get to hear the show last night, but if it was anything like a show in Cincinnati I would be quite impressed. Seems like JB has a handful of venues where he always really pulls out all the stops and gives it his all (not that he doesn't always give it his all). There's just a little extra "umph" to some of his shows, and I think it's because he feels a special connection to certain places (like the Parrothead connection to Cincinnati, for example).

And by the way, god bless Timothy Schmidt for giving all us fruitcakes something to call ourselves. Buffettphiles or Margaritaheads wouldn't have been nearly as good a name for us, in my opinion. But what do I know, I'm only a business major.

I just about cried when he sang "A Pirate Looks a 40". It was a great birthday present! And my 15 yr old and her friend got quite the education and had a wonderful time :o ! It was their first JB concert. We couldn't get there until 4:30 and they thought we would be the only ones there! I loved watching their faces. But they "figured out how to have a little fun" real quick.
