We're on our third.........LOVE IT..........
It's great for when you get home too late to cook outside, or if it's too rainy, or snowy or cold, .........
A charcoal or gas grill is better, but if you need a grill fix and can't grill outdoors, this is great

We have the "basic" kind. It's not something I would have bought for myself. I used it a lot when I was doing that South Beach diet thing. It's so bulky to clean up is my main beef (pun intended ) with it.
My love is staying an anchor tied to you with that silver chain.
Black & decker and Hamilton Beatch had units that were cheaper and easier to clean. I bought a B&D still have it, i can remove the actual cooking surfaces and put in the dishwasher. Perhaps George can do that now but still more expensive.

It's also a great mess free way to cook bacon (no splatter and drains itself) or breakfast sausages.
Never thought about doing a grilled cheese on it....gonna have to try that one out next time.

haha... you said panini
My grandparents have one, it's great for being on the boat when you don't have much room!
I have the little one that makes one at a time, I use it sometimes, doesn't take long at all with that thing, and like the way it drains grease away from the burger.
I use it all the time....had it for years before ever attempting a quesidella on it, but now I find that to be a frequent use...makes a crispy outer tortilla and nice gooey cheese on the inside...mmmmmmmm
I killed the first one I had, next one was a Hamilton Beach knock off. Advantge of it tho is that the grilling plates are removeable and dishwasher safe.

Ok, I had to read that twice... I thought you had some painful grilling going on at your place...
