I just got home about three hours ago from going to those games. THey were ALL nailbiters, and everyone of them could've went either way.
Unfortunately the GOOD GUYS only won one out of the three.

All in all, however, it was a good trip-when I left for Chicago last Thursday, they were two games out of first place. Now they're up by three games. Plus great concerts by OD TAPO IMI, Mac, and THE man himself made for an almost perfect week.
(Not to mention having breakfast with Doyle Grisham AND Larry on Sunday).

Sounds like a great trip for you. I've met Doyle quite a few times. Great guy. He has excellent taste in whiskey too.

Yes, it was a GREAT trip, and, after these past two months, badly needed.
You're right-Doyle IS a great guy, and I don't know about whiskey, but last month in Bloomington, I gave him a bottle of Dewar's Scotch and he gave me a copy of his C.D. (autographed).
I'd highly recommend it to anyone who likes steel guitar music.
