GW question

Post by rireefguy »

I heard tonight that you only need to have one ticket per car to get in the lot. Can anyone confirm that? I went on thurs, but I just want to tailgate tomorrow.

You would need one ticket per person.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

It all depends on who stops you. We flashed 1 ticket for 4 in my car. We had folks come later aroung 4 that they wern't checked at all.

You can say your tickets are at will-call or tell them you are meeting people inside the lot who have your tickets.

You MAY need to show a receipt though depending on who is asking.

It may have been better if they HAD asked to see one ticket per person...

LOTS of non-phans just hanging out to party. Dressed in street clothes, playing non-Jimmy hard rock. Saw a group of obviously underaged girls. Someone asked them if they had tickets and they replied "Naw, we just came here to get drunk!".

Seemed to be an awful lot of "professional" concert goers - i.e. just go cuz it's a big party, but it doesn't matter much who's playing that night.

Concert, though, was phenominal!

AMEN!! I couldn't agree more. another side effect were the cars being parked practically on top of each other. We barely had room to set up our tailgate (and actually had to move the bar to one of the main aisles so we'd get enough foot traffic to give away our beads and shots)

I had a wonderful time and hope to go again next year, but I wouldn't complain if they checked everybody's ticket on the way in....
Indecision may or may not be my problem....

The thing with that is, nothing really bad happens in that part of Massachusetts so the worst crime is DUI's.

We got in with out tickets. We told the guy our friends a few cars up had our tickets and he let us into the lot. This was at 9:30 in the morning, someone said later in the day they were not allowing many people into the lot without tickets.
