Has is occurred to ANYONE that the person who has the book was possibly supposed to be in Aspen but was unable to get there because of the snow, and hasn't seen JB since??

Come on, people, this is ridiculous to keep harping on the people who worked so hard to put this book together.

Unless you had a way to get the book to JB and offered to do so, you really don't have much room for comment on the fact that it hasn't reached its destination yet.....

I have to say, and maybe I shouldn't say anything since we didn't contribute to the book, but I feel I must say something.

These ladies who put the book and the action plan together, worked their feathers off to help you all pay tribute to our phearless parrot leader. Yes you all worked hard on your pages as well. Trust our phellow parrotheads and let them do their "job" to get this book in Mr. Buffett's hands. When you are dealing with someone of his celebrity, there are just some things not everyone needs to know to make things happen. Instead of wasting energy bickering at each other, why don't we use that energy to thank and be grateful to the pholks that are helping make this project a success.

I thought this gift-giving was all about Jimmy, not about you/us.

I can't believe all the self-centerness and lack of gratitude I'm reading here.

And I especially can't believe that some BNers actually think that confidences should be betrayed just so they can "be in the know".

If it weren't for Tiki, ejr, Shannon and others who spearheaded this project, I don't believe any birthday gift I sent to Jimmy would ever have made it to him, or at least not have stood out in the way I'm sure this will. Thank you again for all your very generous time and effort. Thank you for allowing all of us to have the benefit of your efforts and contact.

I have been reading this on and off for awhile! i did not contribute for my own reasons. I think it was a great idea for those who wanted to contribute something and the page that i saw looked AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

that being said i have to say ARE YOU PEOPLE FOR REAL?!? DO you think that the person who is delivering this can just walk up and say"Hey Jimmy here is your 60th birthday gift from the people at BN?????"

i think if you are as big fans as you claim to be you realize all that probably goes into his security detail!

((((((((((((((((((CINDI)))))))))))))) even though i didn't send anything for it i appreciate all that everyone did for it!! i think it is really out of hand for people to start getting NASTY about it!!!
