Re: vanity license plate question
Your DMV site should have something....or some DMV offices have computers for the public set up if it is not on the website (Ohio used to be like that).CoronaMargaritahead wrote:im gonna get a custom buffett license plate.. im in md.. is there a website where i can check to see what ones are used.. because im thinking of a few.. also is there anything in the works like virginia has with the parrothead licenses.. anything else buffett i can get in maryland??
North Carolina has a great one....if it's a little clunky to actually find. ( https://edmv.dot.state.nc.us/sp/Persona ... ceType=EXP for any lurkers that are interested).
I am waiting for my plates to come in the mail should only be a few more weeks. So if you see a bright purple pick-up truck with "LONEPALM" on the back...make sure to wave!

would most folks north of Ocala and more than 20 miles inland know Appleton was in WI, much less the boyhood home of Harry Houdini, or the Paper Industry International Hall of Fame?ToplessRideFL wrote:LOL Yeah.... silly southerners would think I was a Packers fan or something... instead of this:LIPH wrote:She's in Florida, not Wisconsin.RinglingRingling wrote:APPLTON?ToplessRideFL wrote:I wanted GOT RUM... but Mr. Top thought is might provoke those cars with the flashing lights on them....

a lot of amazing stuff came out of WI in the last half of the 19th century. Even a little-known family named Ringling.ToplessRideFL wrote:I think most folks associate Appleton with WI... not Jamaica!!RinglingRingling wrote: would most folks north of Ocala and more than 20 miles inland know Appleton was in WI, much less the boyhood home of Harry Houdini, or the Paper Industry International Hall of Fame?![]()

I thought Jerry Koosman, the former Mets pitcher, was also from Appleton, WI. I just double checked and the baseball almanac says Appleton, MN.ToplessRideFL wrote:I think most folks associate Appleton with WI... not Jamaica!!RinglingRingling wrote: would most folks north of Ocala and more than 20 miles inland know Appleton was in WI, much less the boyhood home of Harry Houdini, or the Paper Industry International Hall of Fame?![]()
