Why are all you people buying Tommy Bahama? It's HOT, it's expensive, it doesn't really work in real day-to-day tropical climates... think all cotton all the time if you really want to be comfortable in the little latitudes... LL Bean's all cotton summer tropic wear works much better, lasts longer, is truly comfortable there, AND it is a heck of a lot cheaper!

Slacks, slacks and slacks.

If I get stuck going to a convention I don't even bother ironing anything. Everything gets thrown in the suit case and the first thing I do is bag it all up and send it to the dry cleaner :D Wonder if the new owners are gonna get thier panties in a wad over stuff like that :-?

With extra starch??? :o :o

Anyway, if the label says "dry clean" that's what I do. Like Larry, once the dress code changed to no longer requiring business attire, my dry cleaning bill went way down.

Hmmmm..... I'd never even thought about laundering "dry clean only" items. :o E.g. a wool suit?? Or a nice silk blouse?? I guess I'd be too afraid to ruin something I'd spent a chunk of money on.... :-?

There are a few things that I have to dry clean. Suits and my Tommy Bahama shirts.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

Thats ridiculous! Of course I dry my clean clothes, wouldn't want to wear them wet. Now I certainly see no reason in drying your dirty clothes either.

I don't usually buy anything that requires dry cleaning. However, I've been lazy enough to have the laundromat pick up my laundry and deliver it when done [smilie=whistle.gif]

all of my husbands work clothes...khaki's, dress pants, sweaters and oxford shirts all go to the dry cleaners. My dressy clothes go also....not that I dress up very often!
I only have to wash his jeans and polo shirts...I would never give up the luxury of not having to iron pants and shirts...I just don't iron.

I have a pile of stuff that needs to go, but I never go. Most of the "dry clean only" stuff is poly, so I just wash that.

And my mom got me a retail style garment steamer for Christmas like 5 years ago- it won't crease anything, but it does get any wrinkle out, so I got rid of the iron!

I take anything that says "dry clean only." I also take my good slacks and Mike's good shirts to get pressed so that the slacks will get that "good crease."
