Here you can discuss any Buffett related topic.

Can anyone sit still when Seger's Night Moves is playing? That is one of the songs I crank up the radio for
NOT sittin' still is the whole point of that song!

If you want to catch a preview to the new B.S. album go to wdfn.com and there is a link to listen to the songs in their entirety. Got a chance to check out the first couple tunes.......solid!

Getting back on topic.......now if SEGER joins JB on stage ........................

didn't even know Kid Rock's real name was Bob and, of course, the only Uncle Bob is Uncle Bob Seger :D

Kid Rock....Hmmmm

Post by Catch&Release »

kid Rock lately has gotten on the country music rebel schtick of Hank Williams Jr., Big n Rich, Gretchen Wilson, etc...Seeing how Jimmy's kind of rediscovered his love of Nashville, who knows if Kid will show up and they'll do "Hey Good Lookin.." I don't think Kid's voice is smooth enough for the obligatory 5 o'clock Somewhere which will likely be the 1st cut on the CD if Jimmy does a SYKBH Volume 2.

Another Detroiter is Kid Rock's friend Uncle Kracker who has been a Kenny Chesney hanger on for the past 5 years. It seems like Jimmy like Kenny Chesney, so if Kracker's in town, maybe he would join Jimmy for a SYKBH or one of the License to Chill songs. Or, (wincing) maybe Jimmy would do a duet with Kracker on Kracker's "Follow Me"

I had a chance to go to the Detroit show BUT passed because of the two shows I saw this year; Cincinnati - stellar and Indy - very ordinary. It seemed like Jimmy just kind of wanted to play all SYKBH as the summer tour wound down and I just couldn't justify $150 a ticket for a SYKBH show with no Jake!

But, maybe Jimmy will be renergized with the month off! Hopefully as I'd love to catch a show in FL in November if it will be something more than just a replay of the same stuff.

Wish he had stuck to the idea that he would feature a different album on each tour stop!

I didn't think Indy was all that SJPTD; or that ordinary (but then, I had a dance partner for a couple songs... :D) Tho you are right on the, "highlight a song or a few" from a different album" idea being a good one that died away too soon.

Actually Uncle Kracker has also done a cover of "Drift Away" with Dobie Gray, I wonder if he and Jimmy would do that one?

It's a matter of time before Paris Hilton and Jimmy Buffett duet together. I'm telling you, it's going to happen.
