What's the farthest you've traveled for a show?

Here you can discuss any Buffett related topic.

What's the farthest you've traveled for a show?

This has probably been done already, but if not, what's the farthest you've gone for a show?

My previous record was Orlando to Cincinnati, but now I'm heading out the Vegas for the second weekend.......

A five-hour drive, unless you count going from Tennessee to Key West (MOTM) in hopes of catching Jimmy in a private concert. Jimmy doesn't make every MOTM....example: last year. :( The hubby calls him "Jimmy No-show". I can't make him understand that Jimmy only goes to MOTM every 2-4 years. :x [smilie=noeyedear-shrugging.gif]

I hear Tahiti is wonderful in January....or pretty much any time of year. :)

My farthest is just Michigan to Toronto, but by the end of the afternoon it might be the upcoming Tampa show. Hoping, hoping....

I'm guessing the time taken to fly to/from Seattle or Miami to the DC area airport was SHORTER than the subsequent drive time into and out of the Nissan Pavilion. Am I right?

Five-hour drive from here to Columbia, S.C. 8)

I'm driving four hours tomorrow to see a Jimmy Buffett sing-alike and meet a bunch of Parrotheads! 8)

Many of them travel much farther for concerts and phlockings, but they are en route today, and you won't hear from them.

I never travel for shows.. if Jimmy isn't in my back yard, I feel it's my god-given right to whine and gripe until he changes his schedule to accomodate me....
