naked sushi

we have an upscale restaurant in our area that did this as a fund-raiser. They have a man and woman in skimpy bathing suits. They then cover then up some more with banana leaves and lay out sushi on them. There is a fuss here because they are doing it again. Apparently city counsel is upset and is threatening them with some sort of action.
Do you think this is in poor taste. Would you have a fit if it was going on in your neighborhood? These are the complaints city counsel is making and that it brings down the tone of the shopping center. This is a fairly expensive event to attend with limited seating.
I can't even imagine if I had a fantastic body image being able to lay their perfectly still with no facial expressions while people walked around me commenting and picking sushi off of my body.
ETA - I don't need to know if you want to go have some naked sushi. This is BN and the answer is given. Would this cause a stink, in your little suburban town?

it has no appeal to me.. none.. I much prefer Whipped Cream

I have no idea why what goes on behind closed doors would
matter to other people..

I really don't know what Boise would do.. I would like to think
attend and spend $$ for the cause..

this is very popular in the Orient, especially among the Japanese.

Not that it makes it a good thing...

We have had an adult bookstore at one of our main intersections forever. That said, there are probably enough vocal lunatics that would cause a stir. I hate it when you get a bunch of people in local governments that want to tell everyone how to live. Both sides do it and both are equally annoying.

I hate it when government gets involved in stuff like this. Who are they 'protecting'? Nobody's getting harmed here, unless of course one of the (not really) naked people has an allergy to fish or something, but I'm sure they screen for that sort of thing :pirate:

I've always been of the mindset that if you're not trampling other people's rights, government should keep their noses out of your business...

Next thing you know, they'll try to figure out a way to tax it...
