I acutally catch Emeril on a pretty regular occasion, you gotta like someone who enjoys their job as much as he does.
With Jimmy coming on. To quote my favorite Emeril line:
Oh yeah Babe.
Maybe he'll bring Mike Utley and Robert Greenidge, then Emeril can have the "Club Trinity". (bad joke)

Just got this in an e mail from the leaders list-
One of my Club members, (and former boardmember)
Jerry Ward was in the audience of the taping. Producers spied his
Island get-up and gave him some VIP treatment, moving him to the "front row". Actually to a table on the set
right next to the band. Jerry met everyone including
Jimmy, Mac, etc. and is most likely in several shots during the show.
He said it was the experience of a lifetime.
Jimmy was kind enough to sign a copy of his new book and DVD.
Jerry has announced that he will be including it in an auction at a fundraiser benefiting the
Jennifer Ward Scholarship Fund this fall. Jen, Jerry's Daughter, was a club member and teacher when she,
at the age of 29, unexpectedly passed in January of '05
of an undetected heart condition.
The scholarship fund provides for area children matriculating from her school.
thanks for listening,
Perry

How cool would that be.

Are you saying that Emeril doesn't have anything to do with New Orleans? What do you base that on?JustDucky wrote:One of Emeril's cookbooks was included in a welcome package to architects in New Orleans recently. HE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH NEW ORLEANS. That is just lame.
Some of his first, and finest resturants are in New Orleans, pre and post Katrina.

He's not FROM New Orleans and the gift package was all about things and people FROM New Orleans. He's not. They f u * k e d up with that apsect. There are much better choices within the cookbook realm from New Orleans to choose from to represent New Orleans. That's the f u * k I'm basing it on. Not this post-pre Katrina bullsh*tty sappy crap that's been going around. He's embarassing. BAM my ass. More like CRAP.
It could be worse though, a Mayor Nagin Doing Great book.
Yeah, I said it, hope I p*** ya off. Truth raises hackles.
