Post by Bwana Paul »

The legendary harpoon man, Greg "Fingers" Taylor is a special guest on the Time After Island Time radio program starting next week (Part One of Three).

In the first installment he talks about his roots, and breaks some very interesting news. You will hear it first on Time After Island Time. We take a look at all of Fingers work, not only was he the original Coral Reefer, but he has appeared on numerous albums from Jimmy Buffett to many others. We hope you enjoy listening to all of the rocking blues. We will be playing some very rare cuts...with Buffett and with other bands, as well as his wonderful solo albums.

Listen in from anywhere in the world on Radio JimmyDreamz

Is that Peter Mayor in the picture on the right? That's not a very good picture, it looks like it's a clip from "planet of the apes"

I figured it was, but that coloring in that photo just looks wierd. :D By the background it looks like it was from the 97 tour.

What a fun evening!
A lot of Greg's family and friends were at CIP last night, so the show consisted of quite a few of his blues pieces along with the obligatory Buffett songs. KD and Fingers were joined on stage by Todd, a local keyboard player.

My camera was not co-operating well, but it was a great evening at the Atlanta CIP!

Friday night was great too. Jim Asbell, Jeff Pike and a lady from Jim's band named Lisa joined KD and Fingers and all were definitely hitting on all cylinders. Alot of us in the crowd were talking about how quiet it got when Jim and Fingers did Pirate Looks at 40. We all had a great time.

This interview was taped sometime before the Buffett Detroit concert Sept 12th.......

recalling mr. Buffett's penchance for impulsive plans, later reconsidered, I guess I'd better not buy that Vegas condo on the strength of it...

more importantly, I hope Mr. Fingers knows Mr Buffett well enough to avoid chicken-counting....it would be a shame to get his hopes up for nothing......

But wouldnt it be great if it happens!!!!!
