Listen to Take The Weather full length on CMT
Hey fellow parrotheads its right here http://www.cmt.com/artists/az/buffett_j ... lbum.jhtml
The Speedo man does not get why everyone is so down on this album it kicks big time ass on the Bellyflopper meter. A solid 8.5 at least, Dukes On Sunday, reminds Bobby of all the good times in the buff on the shores in Wakkiki. Also Reggabilly Hill, Cinco Day Maryo, Weather With You, Nothing But A Breeze, Breath in Breath Out, Hula Girl, Silver Wings all are awesome JB tunes that make the Speedo Man smile like eating 11 Big Macs in a row.

The Speedo Man is 43 years old, 100 ibs overweight, suffers from male pattern baldness, old Bobby boy here cannot get a date if his life depended on it, and the Prince Of Bluberness still lives with his parents.

There's something I don't quite understand here. File sharing is illegal right? Sites like Napster and others have been shut down. How can the CMT put the entire new album out for anyone and everyone to listen to and............dare I say it...........record it? We do live in an ever expanding technological world, and they HAVE to know that almost all of us have internet recording capabilities. This just confuses the crap outta me. Guess this is just one of those things that make ya go Hmmm? I gave a few songs a quick listen, and I think I'll like this new cd. See y'all at the music stores on Tuesday.

Great idea!CoronaMargaritahead wrote:im taking off tuesday so that i can buy the cd
For LTC I took the day off, hit Walmart at 7am, drove to A1A, and cruised with the top down from Saint Augustine down past Daytona. What a great day.
Unfortunately this time I have to work

Yep but most of us really want the Here we are video, so he knows we'll buy it anyway.Reefdiver wrote:There's something I don't quite understand here. File sharing is illegal right? Mailboat/RCA will have licensed CMT to stream the album. That makes the streaming legal. I guess you're asking about the recording. It is legal to record radio broadcasts and legal streaming for personal use. There will be some who will do that and not buy the CD, but the artist is betting that most people will buy it anyway. There is better sound quality on the CD, for one thing (although the clips at CMT sound pretty darn good). And, as someone mentioned above, there is the Here We Are video - which is not available as a musical track on CMT.Reefdiver wrote:There's something I don't quite understand here. On a couple listens, as I am one that recorded it...but will be there on Tuesday none the less, I really like the album so far. Actually, I think it sounds like the old Buffett from the 70's. The catch is the songs remind me of the more mediocre songs from the great albums. Which isn't a bad thing, because the mediocre songs are great in comparison to other musicians mediocre efforts. It sounds better than any of his 1984-1994 albums as well. With exception to "Bama Breeze" it also surprises me how different of a sound it has compared to License to Chill. I'm hearing way more steel drum and less new country sounds. When I first heard "Nothin' But a Breeze" I thought of the song "Cliches". Reggabilly Hill reminded me of the Jolly Mon Sing. See if you can tell...
