Has anyone noticed the similarity between FSOTW and TTWWY?

Here you can discuss any Buffett related topic.

LesPaul30 wrote:Yep- but lets not forget that FSOTW was originally supposed to show Jimmy on a camel wearing a turban. If I recall correctly, the release date was supposed to be shortly after 9/11 so they thought it would be best to redo the cover, which if I recall correctly pushed back the date.....

I'm sure there are pics of it in the Photo Gallery somewhere.

I think this is the best cover ever, mainly because I've stood in the same exact spot Jimmy is standing, I've walked all the way down that beach and I climbed all the way up to the Autour de Roche'. Only difference is when I was there, which I think was about two weeks after Jimmy took this picture, there was some graffitti on the walls of the building he's leaning against. Not the kind of graffitti you see on a NYC subway, but little messages from people who have passed by there. Me thinks some Photoshopping was done on the cover besides adding Jimmy's name and the album title.

If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Life is short, live long!!

I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.
