Even if you don't like the President you have to agree that this movie poster is out of line. Yes or No.

I don't agree with it either.

If, and I this is a big IFsomthing should happen to GW, and it was caught on film ala JFK, I think it would send the country into a tailspin.

I may not agree with what he has been doing but I don't want to see him off-ed, just retired.

You can count on those fruitcake nut jobs in Hollywood putting out movies like this EVERY time there's a Republican president.

One, I don't believe this is even an American production. Two, from what little I know, it's not a Bush bashing film. His persona is used because it is contemporary. I might be wrong about this and either way I don't like that they did it.

It's a British (English, UK-ian, whatever) movie.

The premise of the movie is intriguing to me. They examine (from what I understand) what would happen if a sitting president were murdered, with today's terrorism concerns and whatnot.

By using the actual president, and not a fictional one, the movie will 'hit home' and force people to think. If they had used a fictional president, it would be just another idiotic flick.

(For the record, I wish no harm against George W.)

Has there ever been a movie like this before?
(Aside from the JKF assassination films?)

No.
And there were no J.F.K. assassination films until AFTER he had died.
It didn't matter if he was a Republican or Democrat-people just didn't think like that in those days.

Whoops. One just came to mind. In the Line of Fire, starring Clint Eastwood as a Secret Service Agent.
(I don't remember who the President was...)
