Thanks to my buddy DanD1996 for giving this to me. It is a HIGH quality beautiful sounding mp3 of Here We Are ripped from the video. If you open it in iTunes, it should open as in the track 15 slot at the end of your TTWWY album with all the info in place (before the PATEOTW video if you have it). When this upload gets exhausted, post here and I will reupload it.

Bear with me but I'm still learning about digital music.
By default my computer wants this to go to Dell's Musicbox/Musicmatch or whatever it's called. I want to send the d/l to Windows Media Player because that's how I synch my Sansa player.
I saved the file to wmplayer.exe but I can't locate it and now that I see the little box that pops up with donwloads, it went to Musicmatch anyway.
Ideas on how to get it over to WinMedia?

Just for organizational purposes - i.e. to be able to find stuff - it's good to put your music in one place - one folder with however many subfolders for different artists. You can play music from this one folder on any music player software. Just open the player you want to use and click on FILE in the menu bar - then click on OPEN from the dropdown menu that opens up - then locate the music file you want to play and double-click on it.
In order to find any lost file on a PC, use the search function. Right click on the START button, click on EXPLORE, right click on the drive where you think the file is and choose SEARCH from the menu that opens - type in as much as you can remember of the name of the file and click GO or SEARCH (I don't remember what it says and I'm on my Mac.)
Did this help you, jackiesic?

That file is actually a variable bit rate (VBR) mp3, average bit rate of 228k. Nice, but a far cry from the original wav/PCM version that was in the .mov file on the CD.
Too bad that 40 meg rip isn't floating around. Makes a big difference if you listen on a good system.
And remember, people, Jimmy doesn't want ya'll downloading the sh*t out of this stuff unless you buy the album too.

Jackie,
1. Launch Windows Media Player
2. Select
Tools / Options
3. In the Options window, Select the tab
File Types
4. Check the box labeled
MP3 Audio File (mp3) *
5. Click
OK
* it was likley not checked
You've now associated all files with the extension .mp3 with Windows Media Player, and anytime you click on a filename with that extension it should launch Windows Media Player. Hope this helps!

Like, backbeat said, download your music to MY Music folder and organize in folders there.
Then when you want to play a song or a list of songs...
Right click on the file(s) and choose open with
then choose WMP

I guess it expired.
Some really cool dude put "Here We Are" on here a few days ago but I wanted to see if it was possible that it might sound better than that one, which sounded great btw.

How do you get the download to work? I've went to the site several times and tried it, and I keep getting a message about "exceeding my download limit". I hit the button and it says "wait for 40 seconds" and then it gives me this message (even though I haven't downloaded anything). Sorry, I'm not that "tech savvy" either. Any help would be appreciated.

Never mind! It's working and I'm downloading it now. I orginally was going to the site with my AOL browser (which doesn't work correctly with a lot of sites for some reason). I opened Internet Explorer and tried going and downloading with it and it is working fine. Geez, why can't AOL fix these stupid problems with their browser not working with sites

. (Yeah, I know I'm still on dialup, which sucks, but I'm in the "boonies" and satellite is my only option for high speed, and I've heard horrible reviews about satellite high speed.)

Can I get some help. I go to the link and don't see any option to download. Does it need to be refreshed?
I have the album and adding this track to iTunes would be great!
Thanks!
