Speaking of needing new friends, I think I need a new sister. Last week I heard her describe me to someone on the phone as a "Birdhead".

flowery:
welcome to the club. there's a couple of junkyard dogs around here (one of which just spread some manure on another board), but pay them no mind. we watch out for our own here.

funny you should mention getting the video for your b-day...so did i. June 19th i hit the big 3-0.
what i wouldn't give for one of those big green parrot-head-masks from the video.

"gone back to her ma and pa, tellin' tales of parrotheads and parties"

My s.'keet's was the 22, but she'd probably die if I told her Jimmy released it just for her BD. She's a Matchbox 20 and Hootie fan.

juicyfruit -- think that sister needs some rehab. Get her to a show pronto. Too bad tickets are too hard to come by to make it a twelve-step program.

WD,
I love it! A 12-step parrothead program to complete insanity! Where do I sign up? Is there a DRG code for this? Do they take BlueCross/BlueShield? Maybe I could get my insurance to pay for tix, medical necessity. How long do I get, I mean have to take off work? Is there a possibility of needing remedial work?

Hootie?!?! Is the girl insane??? Give her some Bob Marley and Buffett and show her what real music is....

My son is 2 and can sing Volcano and Brown-Eyed Girl. My 8 year old's favorite song is PHINS!!! She's counting down the days till she can see BUFFETT!!!! I guess it helps to start them off at birth....

Flowery:
Phins must be a kid favorite...caught my keets doing the Phins in the rear view the other day while waiting at the Starbuck's drive-through. I was so proud. I agree, you must start them at birth before Puff daddy and Brittney take overt their innocent minds....
capt. toni:
according to the family leave act, you have 12 weeks if you bring a relative with you....you may be well on your way to doing the 12 step two-step!!!Watch out though, you flunk the urine screen if your tequila level falls into the non-intoxicated zone.....

Insane? No. Her taste is in her mouth, that's all.
I'm trying to teach her the difference between men and pondscum right now. We'll move on to more complex stuff like music once she masters the men thing.

why not just install those big rubber flowers that supposedly keep one from falling in the bathtub on the actual chairs? (talk about punchy)
