Just wanted to let everyone know how awesome you all are!!! I've been following this thread since it started, and although I don't have the resources to help with this one, I just want you all to know that you are doing an awesome thing!!! A smile comes to my face every time I see someone come through with something new

I've never known more caring, generous people than I do here at BuffettNews

It's stuff like this that really gets me into the Christmas spirit

Now: I need help again. The website that limeinone listed got me going in the right direction, but my little phone modem is not up to the task apparently.

Here's the deal: A friend of mine is willing to donate a pair of Vittoria brand cycling shoes, size 44, if the size is right. Vittoria isn't a brand listed on the site from limeinone, so I went to their site to see if they have some sort of conversion chart (their site is www.vittoria-shoes.com ). My modem can't handle it....

Can someone help me out here? These shoes are used, but in good condition, and are "ours" for the asking if they are the right size.

That site wasn't much help but I did do a search on the googles and it looks like a 44 is a size 10 for the CX model but the Arrow mnt and road shoes are size 11. ????
Do you know what the model is?

Yep. It's all about the good karma. SGH hit the nail on the head when she said this was the perfect gift because (1) he's not expecting anything and (2) we're doing this for all the right reasons! I *love* good karma...and being from the 60's, I need all of it I can get!

Limeinone's actually a step ahead of you, ETP-that's the site he posted earlier today while you were gone.

It's great, except it doesn't list the brand (Vittoria) that my friend has. I've left him a message to tell me what style of shoe it is (see ealier posts). If it doesn't work out (there'll never be any doubt

) remember we still have Plan B and Plan C from my PM.
