Coast of Marseilles always makes me cry. It brings back a lot of feelings I'd rather forget.

"She's Going Out of My Mind"
"False Echoes"
"If the Phone Doesn't Ring, It's Me"
"Cowboy in the Jungle"
"Death of an Unpopular Poet"
"Wonder Why We Ever Go Home"
"Changing Channels"
"Remittance Man"
"When the Coast is Clear"
"A Pirate Looks at Forty"
That last one's probably a little weird, but it always makes me cry. Reminds me of someone I used to know...

If the Phone Doesn't ring it's me is the saddest to me, but I still love the song.

I think that "Prince Of Tides" tells a sad story...the over development of paradise...like Margaritaville is REALLY about...it is a really good song on it's own merit...also "Time To Go Home"...on that note, who else is going to make an Atlantis pilgrimage this summer??

I don't think that "Rail Road Lady" and "Stranded on a Sandbar" have been mentioned, but I have to say that they don't compare to "False Echoes" and "Captain and the Kid"

I am glad D mentioned In the Shelter. I have always thought that was one of Buffett's saddest songs. Ellis D (I can't remember the spelling) from "Before the Beach" is also pretty sad.
