Manatee finds his way to Memphis !!!

A healthy 8-10 foot, 1000 pound manatee was spotted in the Mississippi near downtown Memphis. He had to swim over 700 miles upstream to get there. They are treating him right, restricting water traffic around him and watching him with boats and helicopters. Officials in Memphis are in touch with Florida experts to see what to do with the poor guy.

This is a great story....maybe he just felt the need to relocate. I mean hanging around with a bunch of other manatees probablly gets a little bit boring after awhile. Sort of the manatee spin on "Take Another Road"
