I have several of the older pieces, for collectors purposes only...

I've never cooked in them, only the newer ones...

I had a very close friend (late friend, unfortunately) who got her mother's fiestaware when her mother died. When my friend died, I think she had about 20 place settings of the older stuff which was auctioned off. She loved it!

I'm thinking solely the new stuff for the purpose of actual usage. If I had extra $, I don't think I'd be spending it on fun tickets rather than radioactive dinnerware.

And also, I can so see me painting my kitchen to match my fiestaware.
