Rip up a pair of pants and a t-shirt, smear some dirt on them, and wear a cardboard sign around your neck with something funny such as "why lie, I need a beer"

Oversized clear garbage bag. Put it on and tie it (losely) at the neck. Fill with small colored balloons and be a bag of jelly beans, or fill with small purple balloons and be a bunch of grapes...........be careful with all the balloons someone does not p**** you.

wish I still had a picture handy.. a VOLCANO is easy.. hula hoop... sheet or paper painted with trees, lava.. red wig and a flashlight and smoke ..
I erupted occasionally.. it was big enough to hold up, then drop down so I was the lava.

I'm in the same boat as you, MelliJellyBean and am loving some of the ideas here!

Here's some that I'm contemplating (besides some of the ones I've seen posted... You guys are GOOD!!!):
Babysitter - sew a doll to the seat of your pants.

Upper (or lower) GI - wear the top (or bottom) of an army uniform.

Tape a $1 bill to each ear and go as a Buckaneer.
