Question about the pdf tickets
I bought 4 tix ended up needing 2, in the past I bought tickets from people here via email and never thought a thing about it. Here i am selling two and I am trying to think of a fair way to sell them so the buyer knows he's getting in and i'm not some scum bag that printed off 200 copies and sold them.
I was thinking maybe paypal was the only viable option as the person would have that security in knowing they could file the dispute, either that or meeting them at the concert, but then that seems like it could turn out to be a nightmare as well.
What do you guys do?

The only time I bought those kind of tickets was when I found better seats at the last minute and didn't want to stand in the will call line. Maybe not buy those tickets in the future?
I have seen where people sell at the gate and offer to go in together - possibly some difficult logistics there...

We always get the Hard Tickets...in case we need to sell 1 we have the real deal to send out.
On the other hand, when I've gotten tickets in the past, I get them on BN from someone who has more than 10 posts.....You would qualify!!!!

PayPal
Just so you know, in my opinion, the PayPal and EBAY guarantees are not worth anything with regards to concert tickets.
I had a problem with 4 tickets I bought to Jimmy at MSG in Sept. I had hard tickets and for some reason the guy I bought from told Ticketmaster that the tickets were never delivered and had them replaced with pdf tickets. He attached them to an email to me but never told me what they were and when I emailed back asking what these were as I had hard copy tickets, I never got a reply. I was very dumb because it never occurred to me that the Hard Tickets were no good and after I never got a reply to my email I forgot about the email. That was a huge mistake on my part. Bottom line was I got to MSG with the Hard Tickets and 3 friends and they were no good and we missed the concert!
I thought that the seller had a responsibility to tell me that the Hard Tickets were no good and had been replaced as I had no experience with pdf tickets and did not know what they were. I first tried PAYPAL and my claim was immediately thrown out because they have a 60 day claim window and I had bought the tickets in July.
Then I moved on to EBAY's guarantee. This was a long drawn out process and the only claim I had with them was that the product was not as advertised. It too was dismissed.
Bottom line is these guarantees are there to make us feel better about buying on EBAY, but they are designed for buying a toaster, not concert tickets. In the future its Ticketmaster, here, or I listen on Sirius!

mark me down for hard tickets, and expecting the seller to have more than 10 posts (outside the "Ticket Exchange" forum).... having just gotten singed on eBay (thank god I used Paypal and a credit card rather than just funds) on an item... you can't be too careful.Dutch Harbor PH wrote:We always get the Hard Tickets...in case we need to sell 1 we have the real deal to send out.
