Of course he was a jerk in Heart Like a Wheel---but he was younger and that was a movie.
Ryan wrote a paper on him in school---he has done alot of good
If we all liked the same drivers and teams, what fun would drag racing be?
nothing like the smell of nitro @ 9am in the pits...it's been a while, but I still remember the excitement (as well as the first funny car races, ..at night)

it does, yeah...from the top fuel dragster and funny cars on down to the average Joe that wrenches on his own car, you can walk right up to the car while they work on it in the pits, and talk to the dirver and the mechanics...
everyone has their favorite, and I love the t-shirts.
