Milwaukee Parrothead Christmas Party!
Posted: November 16, 2006 4:13 pm
Hi everyone! In case you haven't gotten your tickets yet, do it now as they are going fast! Only $12 gets you into a great show by The Boat Drunks, with Jim Hoehn and Kevin Mulvenna opening for them. The show is at Shank Hall, located at 1434 N. Farwell Avenue in Milwaukee. Check out the attached flyer for all of the details, but here is the “insider scoop” that the general public doesn’t know:
You get dinner from MAPA as well! Not only that, but you get in 1½ hours earlier than the public, and since the seating is first-come, first-served, you’ll have your choice of the best seats in the house! We’re also holding a Toys For Tots drive that night, so please bring along a new, unwrapped toy to help us out.
· 5:30: Doors open to MAPA members and guests. Shank Hall will have bar service available to us at that time.
· 5:30 – 7:00: Dinner provided by MAPA.
· 7:00: The doors open to the public, but you’ll already be inside!
· 8:00: A GREAT night of music begins!
We’ve also got a block of rooms booked at the Comfort Inn, located at 916 E. State St., located only 0.8 miles from Shank Hall, and we’ll have shuttle service running all night long so you won’t have to walk or drive. The rooms are only $79 for the night, so make sure that you ask for the Milwaukee Parrothead block of rooms.
Oh yeah, you can book your tickets by clicking the link on the www.milwaukeeparrotheads.com website and we’ll send your tickets out. Or, if you prefer, contact me via any of the methods listed below and I’ll make other arrangements to get your tickets to you.
See you on the 2nd! This promises to be a GGGRRREAT party!
