Tonights interview: Aspen in December?
Maybe I misheard, between being at work and not feeling well it could have happened, but did Jimmy say there was an Aspen show in December?

Re: Tonights interview
Yeah, he said it would be a "small one". I wonder if that means the appearance is by Freddie and the Fishsticks.PhutureMD wrote:Maybe I misheard, between being at work and not feeling well it could have happened, but did Jimmy say there was an Aspen show in December?

I'm searching and thinking and working on this today. May just have to call the Belly Up and see what I can hear them tell me....
The 17th through the 21st are still open too. Nothing on their calendar. Somebody looks at the past Aspen shows, let us know if he plays random days, or if lasts years Wednesday night show was a tread continuer.

too bad the tickets for this will be $300+...and that will probably be just the GA seats. Would be an unbelivable show to go to if it happens though.~Hippolyte~ wrote:I'm searching and thinking and working on this today. May just have to call the Belly Up and see what I can hear them tell me....

Previous Aspen shows, and their days of the week: 12-27-97 Saturday, 12-28-98 Monday, 12-21-05 Wednesday. It appears that Jimmy, I mean Freddie, doesn't have an extreme preference of what day of the week this show is. Nor if it's before or after his birthday.
The Belly Up is pretty booked up the week after Christmas, except for the 26th.
I found the article from last Decembers 'The Aspen Times' by Stewart Oksenhorn. I sent him an e-mail, knowing that I'll most likely not get a response, but what the heck??
And please don't say $300......weren't they just $250 last year? (Did I say JUST $250?)

I get e-mail updates from the Belly Up and I had just received one the other day for Seal playing a couple of shows there. The tickets for that show were something like $350 for GA and $500 for reserved~Hippolyte~ wrote:

For that price I want a couple of dolphins, jellyfish and maybe a shark or two. (sorry, bad attempt at a joke there)

I'll keep scouring for info to pass along as well. yeah I'm probably crazy for even thinking about trying to afford it, but I so should have gone last year and could have. So I want to give it some strong thought this year before realizing Aspen is 4.5 hours from my house and I have no clue where I'd stay in Aspen, or close to it IF this all came together.Pencil Thin wrote:I'll keep scouring for info to pass along as well.
