I'm NOT packing sunscreen at all...on the theory that we'll have to BUY it at some ridiculous price!SchoolGirlHeart wrote:Nope.... Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"

But these things can change in a heartbeat
Thanks - I was meaning to look that up.
Looks like "wet and a bit windy Thursday and Friday" is the worst we'd get on that path. But of course, the storm *can* change course.
*I'm* disappointed it doesn't take a more westerly path, so that maybe GA gets some rain.
And I *always* pack some light rain gear when I go to KW. As long as they don't evac the tourists, we'll be fine.

Here's a more optimistic track forecast:

I'd guess at rain on Wednesday and clearing Thursday, if that's how it goes. And not even all that *much* rain.
But, as we all know...you can't really tell where one of these might be going...

I'll bring the ophicial Alpine poncho. I bought it three years ago at Alpine, while the rain was falling. By the time we got to the lot, the rain had stopped. The poncho never came out and it's never rained on a show where I remembered to bring it along.
