Yes. They closed their brewery in Latrobe this summer and sold to Anheuser Busch. I believe they will be brewing in New Jersey.CaptainP wrote:They closed?shakerofsalt wrote:We had Rolling Rock this summer...but just because they were some of the last bottles to roll off the line before the brewery closed.

Just when you thought that swill couldn't get any worse, they start making it out of Jersey water...shakerofsalt wrote:Yes. Never good to forget your roots. Not that I drink that beer anyway, but moving away from what got you there is not a wise choice.shakerofsalt wrote:Yes. Back in the mid to late 80's Pittsburgh Brewing put out a bottom of the barrel beer called Old Dutch, which we fondly referred to as Old Douche. A local beer distributor sold it for 5 bucks a case.Catch&Release wrote:you guys think Rolling Rock is bad? I grew up in Buffalo where the most popular locally brewed beer is Genesee. Talk about rancid and which even at $9.99 for a case of 16 oz bottles is still not worth it - even for poor college kids!
Rolling Rock is similar to Corona in my opinion. Light and goes down like water on a summer day.
