can you be bribed by fudge?

I made a mistake on an insurance matter which has me a day late on a payment. The insurance agent whom I deal with all the time could technically let this go because it's only a couple hours late or she could put it through in a way that will be a pain in the butt to me and cost me a bit of money. Since it's my payment before christmas I included a pound of Jersey boardwalk fudge. Would that sway you?

If they screw you over because you are one day late, I'd be damn sure to find a new insurance company before the next bill is due.

I'd pretty much do anything for chocolate, so you'd be good in my book.
If the agent doesn't let it slide, I'd definitely be finding a new insurance company.
And you can send me the fudge.

One year I called my insurance co to inquire about something. They reported it as a claim and would not let me renew.

I'm partial to being flashed

, but fudge would work in a pinch. I typically will give more leniency to those who are nice to me, than those that call yelling and screaming, not that I process insurance payments, but just in general.

Maybe they just didn't like you.

this is health insurance/cobra through mr oc's union. They won't cancel me. They just cancel the cards temporarily until my next payment comes in which isn't due til the 31st. I don't want to make that payment early the month before Christmas when I've got shopping to do. Any bills acrued will be paid retroactively but we have several scripst that are expensive and I"d have to pay them and submit for a reimbursement.
Some forms read payment postmarked before the first, others have it due in office by the first so it's up to the girl I deal with. She's normally pretty great to work with. She helps when I want to get something covered by insurance that might be on the fence.

Would you call me Lazy if I asked you to send it Cherry Hill???[smilie=battingeyes.gif]
I use chocolate to bribe my underwriters all the time....I've never tried it on someone I owe though....Maybe I'll send a pound to Visa and see if they will zero out my account...
Oh, and I get the goodies when I visit Mom in Northfield next week....

hehe I don't mind sending it really let me know. I don't know any place that makes it like here. Salt water taffy is also a big fave. I even send my sis johnsons caramel corn.
Hehe. I'm on the borderline of late with the insurance. She could see it as postmarked and in her office by 9am the next morning. I expressed it when I realized the mistake. If Nov. didn't only have 30 days I'd have been fine.
Maybe I should see if I can get all my debts forgiven with chocolate too.

Gee, my best friend had never given me fudge (and he was at Macinac Island last year!)
Maybe I need to make a change!

MMMMMMMM Fudge! I would do darn near anything for Macinac Island fudge, but I am curious as to Jersey fudge, is it better?

Perfectly understandable.

fudge kitchen is the place to get the fudge. it is made fresh daily and never really has time to sit, esp this time of year when shipping is high volume. Shrivers is the place to get salt water taffy. Even though they each offer both don't buy one from the other even though the sales people offer you a deal. They both have websites. Yep the fudge from the boardwalk is excellent stuff.
But as offered if people put together an order I'll get it and send it to you.

I love me some fudge, but I'm not that easy. If I'm being bribed I'd rather have a hot under 30-something sweet young thing.
