There were a few...but I always fought back...literally, which resulted in too many visits to the principal's office.

There was a girl - Vera someone. I was a dork at school so was not one of the cool kids. At our 20yr school reunion, I had a little too many adult beverages and went up to talk to her, not realising who she was. I asked her her name, she told me it with attitude and I (the quiet, shy one) just said "Well you were a b**** in high school, but you are a bigger one now" and walked off

Umm...yes please.

And he never got in trouble because the class was walking down the hall when he did it and I got embarrassed....

On another note, I have been retaliated against....

A former colleague made an a$$ of himself while trying everything in his power to undermine a successful project I was working on. (I never challenged him on it because I didn't trust him and others were in a better position to tell him to "back off".)

Fast forward two years...I'd been forced into a job I disliked immensely, he gets promoted (political connections) and through reorganization becomes my boss. He did everything in his power to distance himself from me while feeding me to the wolves. So much for the corporate values of "respect for people, integrity and excellence". Since I grew to hate the job and lost confidence in the organization and industry (for many reasons), I just left.
