I got my first voice-mail message from my 18 month old daughter the other day. She literally just started to talk about 2 weeks ago. It's so damn cute, I just had to share it! Man, do I love that kid!

You and I are on opposite sides of a wonderful, fun, blessed ride.

My son is 14 and a half and WON'T talk to me...
except to say I'm crazy no matter what I say or do...
Doesn't want to admit I exist!

Never thought it would happen because he was ALWAYS a sweetie who loved his mom.

We've been talking about taking a family trip to NYC between Christmas and New Years and he doesn't want to go because it would cut into his skateboarding time.

Just think, you've got years of Disney and Universal ahead of you!
Enjoy the wonder years!!!

Yes, I'm told I have about 8.5 more years of bliss and then it'll go completely nuts. Sorry that you have to deal with it. Take solice in the fact that it's just a phaze and it'll be better than ever in like... 3 maybe 4 years.
