This has to be one of the best albums. I don't know about everone else, but Cowboy in the Jungle is the song that gets me "Goin' to the Bahamas".

I think that's one of his more underrated songs.

With all the debate about what JB song Willie Nelson is putting on his next album, I wouldn't be surprised if "Cowboy in the Jungle" was it, along with maybe "SOASOAS", "WDWGDAS", or even a slower song like "Coast of Marseilles" (I know, Keith Sykes wrote it) or "Incommunicado". I can just hear Willie warbling out those songs as we speak... ;)

Has anybody else noticed that the tempo and beat of Cowboy in the Jungle sounds like Innocent Man by Billy Joel.

Blasphemy.... :pirate: Just listen to them both. I came into Buffett in the mid 90's. By the time I heard Cowboy I had heard the Joel tune hundreds of times. Just listen to the intros.

Cowboy in the Jungle is on my current top ten list (it varies, you know).

GREAT SONG!
