The pictures are beautiful, Larry.......a friend of mine spent Christmas weekend in NY.....it was rainy, but she loved it. Her pictures aren't nearly as pretty as yours! It's a beautiful city.

Goody goodY! A virtual trip around New York. Thanks so much, LIPH!!
Happy New Year.
I thought things were big in TEXAS. Love those decorations, lights and balls, wooden soldiers.
De Beers must be more beautiful than ever. The flags are nice.
Wow...St Patrick's Cathedral.
I'll bet Saks is gorgeous at night.
Love the angels in/and the Channel Gardens.
Prometheus and Ice Skaters...COOL!
Rainbow Room made me think of Prince Of Tides
Grand Central Terminal is special.
Really love the carousel horsies.
I will have to make it there one Christmas. Seems like even more special than ever.

No, I was still crossing the street on red lights. Tourists stand on the corner and wait for green.

The big ornaments are in front of the Fox News Building at the corner of 48th St. and 6th Ave. The giant lights are the next block north in front of the Tim McGraw/Faith Hill Building (goober tourist joke). The big red balls are also on 6th Ave., right across the street from the building where I work. The clown train is in front of the Time-Life Building at 50th & 6th and the wooden soldiers are a couple of blocks north of there, 52nd & 6th.

They play Christmas music at night and the lights on the front of Saks light up in time to the music. It's something to see.
I've been to the Rainbow Room, the view is great but the food is mediocre.
