Nick Sabin to Alabama!!
Slick Nick heading to Bama for 8-10 years, worth $35 to $40 million.
Appears Bama has gotten some egg off their face. Except now Nick may have egg on his face regarding the way he bolted the Fins. Word has it he let his assistants know of his decision via conference call and skipped a planned meeting with Hizenga and called him to let him know his decision.

AL doesn't deserve him, but then given his behaviour, he doesn't really deserve to be coaching in the NFL either.Dr.Corona wrote:Slick Nick heading to Bama for 8-10 years, worth $35 to $40 million.

Well, if there is ever a time for the Tide faithful to settle their elephant arsses down and stick behind a coach now is the time. They KNOW Sabin won't be going back to the Pro's cuz no owner would be stupid enough to take him and the guy has gotten programs turned around at Michigan State and LSU so he must be able to do something right. The only question is whether the recruits will trust him enough to committ? I believe he'll have Bama back on top of the SEC West within a couple years.live2ski wrote:Worst job in college football right now. The boosters have unrealistic expectations. Good luck Nick if you lose to Auburn, you will have boosters parking moving vans on your street.
Besides, they should be realizing that verrrrry few if any established coaches want their gig without Big $$$$$$$$
Just curious as to what LSU Tiger fan thinks about this.

Last I heard (from ESPN) they were talking about promoting from the inside.
I am a HUGE Fins Fan, but the disappointments are KILLING me. RIcky, Dante and now Saban...ugh what next...never mind forget I asked that (there might be an answer)
