The Houston Chronicle has an article on correcting the lyrics to the song "Cheeseburger in Paradise":
Jimmy Buffett likes cheese with his lyrics
<em>
But even more compelling, if he's saying "mustard," then there's no cheese on his cheeseburger. Buffett is a words guy. He wouldn't miss a critical ingredient like that. He's saying, "Medium rare with Muenster be nice." Muenster cheese. There, now you've got a cheeseburger.
Update: The orginal lyrics say "munster" (thanks to Martyritaville)

(see picture in my signature, b/c I'm saying this in my best School Marm" voice):
The item "cheese" is clearly implied in the name "cheeseburger." Mr. Buffett does not specifically mention that there is a "burger" in the list of items, but we can infer that it does indeed exist.
My love is staying an anchor tied to you with that silver chain.

Yes, I believe that both the "cheese" and "burger" are implied. When I order a hot dog from the street vendor with mustard and relish, I don't have to also ask for the hot dog.
I'm looking at a CiP menu now, the house speciality is topped with Cheddar and American slices. I don't ever remember ordering a burger with meunster cheese anywhere.
Can you tell Christmas is over and the Feud has ended? Can we make this the #1 thread by spring?

Here's where the confusion starts. I just pulled out the SOASOAS LP and the lyrics on the sleeve has "mustard be nice." I just checked m-ville.com and they have change the lyric to "muenster'd be nice."
I was so much older then, I'm younger than that now!

CIP restaurants do not use Muenster cheese on the "Cheeseburger In Paradise" product.
However, it also has no mustard either....
Bun, meat, cheddar, american, Heinz 57, lettuce, tomato. Big kosher pickle on the side.

How about placing an asterisk in the song to signify that there is a descrepincy in the lyrics? Or we can just have another beer!
