I heard both calls...he certainly sounded sober in the one yesterday, I thought of that comparison at the time....

That was the call from the boat, off the coast of Palm Beach. Jimmy sounded sauced up that night. If I remember correctly, the kids were going off to boarding school.
And he later credited the inaccuracies to the rum and merlot....
...but I thought Buffett wasn't much of a drinker these days? At least according to the accusations leveled at the writer of the Slate article. Here, it sounds like those qualities are being championed.
It's all relative...and I'm just repeating what some guy named Buffett said....

Just did a bit of checking...Mali is 90% Muslim but apparently not extremely conservative so alcoholic beverages are available there (unlike Saudi Arabia for example). The Mali alcoholic beverages supply per capita is 6.4 kg as compared to 101.4 kg for the United States. When I was in Pakistan you had to surrender your passport (to prove you were non-Muslim) to get a beer delivered to your room. By the way the Irish lead the way at 214 kg. :o

So by that account, we're getting about 50 shows this year???

Sometimes more than others,
we see who and what and where we are,
I'm just a one man band,
With my feet in the sand,
Tonight I just need my guitar

That and I think he meant that RM will be playing music that he heard at the festival. He said he bought a bunch of CD's
