Not sure about a 7 sec delay on TV but I do know there is a delay between regular over the air TV, cable TV, and HD, no matter what you are watching. This delay is just the nature of the technology. While watching the Patriots/Jets game last week I was watching on the HDTV in the basement. My father was checking on something up stairs and had it on the regular cable TV. When Pennington threw that lateral pass and the Pats recovered my dad was yelling before I even saw the Patriots pick it up. Was probably 4 to 6 seconds behind. I have heard that the local radio station in Boston, WBCN, puts on a delay so that people can listen to them and turn the TV sound down.

Then my eyes weren't deceiving me. I thought that's what the shirt said but then I figured, nah they wouldn't have deliberately put her on camera if it said "that". So I wonder if the FCC will consider this an offense like the Janet Jackson wardrobe malfunction?

from Directv the lag is closer to twenty seconds, I live eight blocks from the Blue turf. I can hear the Cannon go off for a score. and
have time to walk into the room and watch the score on TV..

I saw that, and they left it on the screen for several seconds.
I was shocked they left it on air as long as they did.

I didn't comment on it to avoid drawing attention to it.
No one else in the room seemed to notice it....fortunately. Image
Some people never find it, some only pretend

Thats for sure. Used to have DirecTV. When "Who wants to be a Millionaire" First came on I had it on one time while talking on the phone. The person on the other end was giving me their answer usually before I saw the question. Drove me crazy.

I have directv and have a delay between 2 sets in the same house, only thing I can figure is that one has a tivo and the other doesn't. Not a big delay, maybe 2 or 3 seconds.

Had cable AND DIRECTV in a home.. cable was about 2-3 seconds ahead of DTV..

The TV with TIVO on it is about 1 second slower than the other TV's with the DIRECTV here. :)
