Anyone ever booked a Coral reefer?

Post by KYPARROTHEAD »

Hey all,

Just wondering, since I am part of the board this year for our local club, I was thinking about pairing up with a few local clubs (Ky, Oh, In) and getting Mac in for a concert. Anyone every booked him? Typical costs?(please PM those details)

Not sure if its even realistic yet, but I think it would be pretty sweet.

Thanks
Brandon

I'd like to know, too. Hubby and I were just talking about having a Mac-fest. I have a Mac-crush.

He's just toooo hairy. :D

Didn't Phat Matt book him or one of the other reefers?

I know HockeyPH booked Amy Lee for CiP.

HockeyParrotHead and Phat Matt are two that I know of.
I believe FinsUpNorth also has booked Amy.

The Atlanta Parrot Head Club (APHC), the first one in existence, booked Mac McAnally and Greg "Fingers" Taylor for their Christmas party.

It was great!

The Central Illinois Parrothead club and the Eastern Illinois Parrothead Club have booked Amy Lee, TC Mitchell, and Doyel Grisham in the past for fund raising events. In all cases that I have gone they have been playing with the Boat Drunks. I'd recommend the Boat Drunks, they are a lot of fun and put on a great show.

"So I want you to be my buddy, Bubba Bear"

So I took ole' Bubba Bear by his island size pause
and I led him over to the rolling papers
He's a sniffin' around that thing cause
He's smellin' somethin' good
I gave him one of them joints
He inhaled it up right
I gave him another'n an another'n an another'n
For I knew it he smoked eight of them
and she commenced to doin' the bare dance
Two strips, a snort, a sunburn, and a rot gut
It was so simple like the dune buggy
It rum invaded me

He looked right at my red eye, and my eyes
was a lot redder than his was
It hung him up

Grey Goose pimples was runnin' up and down my body
And a feelin' groovy came over me
like somethin' sin I'd never experienced before

It was like, like I was in love
In love for the one billionth time, with movers and shakers
Anime, inanime it didn't matter
It's like there's a great neon sign flashin' on an' off
In my brain sayin' "ParrotPartyGod there's a great dame a comin'"

`Cause I was drunk

I was God's own drunk and a fearless pirate
And that's when I first saw her bare
She was a Kodak lookin' filler `bout nineteen feet tall
I rumbled up over the hill
expectin' me to do one of two things,
Flip flop or fly, I didn't do either one
It hung her up
She started sniffin' around my body tryin' to smell beer

But she ain't gonna smell no beer `cause
I'm God's own drunk and a fearless pirate
It hung her up

I want you to go back over there tonight
And tell them I'm feelin' right
You tell them Wild Women of Mayberry I love each and everyone of them
like a brothel and a sister

I would imagine if you "cooked" a Coral Reefer, you might end up "cooked" yourself. [smilie=cool_goatee.gif]
