I took my hubby's last name as I wanted to have the same name as my son. I could have given him both sur names, but them his name would be annoyingly long. I wish I would have thought of losing my middle name and making it my maiden name before I changed my last name originally. I lie that idea. Maybe next time
I just use my first name and married name. But on my drivers license... the goober at the DMV MADE me put my maiden name on my license. Something about have 2 licenses for one person... I dunno... I didnt care and didnt feel like arquing I recall. LOL

My mom had to put her maiden name on her nursing license...but on the driver's license, thats weird. I had to change my SS card and the DL place went from that.

I loved my maiden name...but was equally excited about taking my husbands name...not cause I liked the name but because I wanted to be a part of him and wanted our family to all have the same name.
I dropped my middle name and put my maiden name in it's place.
