Interesting that both Best Actor and Best Actress were awarded to people playing real people, not fictional characters.

This is the second year in a row this has happened.

I've stopped falling for that crap years ago. I only buy the basic version of all movies, unless you're talking "Directors Cuts" of certain movies.

All the extras.....may be nice, but do I really ever look at them? NO

Another Best Picture shocker!

I really thought Babel was going to win if LMS didn't
I would not have thought The Departed would take it!

Babel and Dreamgirls really got shut down tonight

Another great... nearly 4 hour... show!!

Best picture was the one category that was really open. Babel won other Best Picture awards, but so few folks saw it.......and Little Miss Sunshine was a delightful film, but not the kind of "epic" they like to honor at the Oscars. I actually wasn't surprised by this one.

I've never seen her. She's one of those performers that I really want to see. I worked with a girl that saw her and said she is awesome in concert.

Saw her several years ago when she was just getting popular nationally. She did a cover of Shook Me All Night Long that put AC/DC to shame.

And now she's got an Academy Award!

I was mis-informed! "RV" was beaten out by "Basic Instinct 2"
