I'm jealous...Here's my short list:
Best overall beach: White Bay, JVD - beautiful beach with lots of bars, go to One Love for a Bushwacker and Soggy Dollar for a pain killer.
Best Snorkeling: The Indians are the best, but there are so many others!
Best Nightlife: Foxy's, JVD
Must See: The Baths, VG, touristy but very cool. Make sure you visit the beach on the other side!
Place most likely place to see all ages jumping naked into the ocean: the Willy-T off Norman Island

I have sailed BVI a number of times. We generally start in St. Thomas and head over to JVD the first day and spend the night.
For snorkeling, the sites I like are the Indians, the caves, the Baths and Anegada. I like the bath more for hiking but there is some ok snorkeling. If diving the Rhone is closeby. Anegada is by far the best spot for underwater adventures. If you go you will probably need an escort. The island is surrounded by reefs. It is better maked now but most charter companies are not fans of bareboaters heading there. If you do go radio ahead reservations for dinner. Fresh lobsters are served on the beach at night at the hotel in the bay. The best snorkeling is on the eastern side of the island. (quick cab ride)
The best beaches are on the smaller cays that you will cruise by. Cane Garden Bay is nice but too crowded for my tastes, if you want a meal on-shore that is the place to stop.
Stop at Virgin gorda one night there is usually a good band at the resort. No problem getting in. Get there early, that bay gets crowded.
Do not anchor on the northern side of Peter Island. Not a comfortable sleep if the night winds kick up. Don't waste your time docking at Necker Island. Security is quick to show up and escort you off the island. (We only made 25ft up the path from the dock before we were greeted by 4 security guards.)
St John is nice we spent some time there. The main town has some active night life. An occasional good musician and some interesting bars.
A good guide book on BVI will tell you all you need to know. The area is so popular among the boaters that there are very few secrets left.
My favorite day of sailing there is when we head out east and sail out past the dropoff drop a fishing line and do some open ocean sailing.
You don't say if you have a captain or cook on board. I assume you do not. You might want to consider hiring a cook for each boat. It is nice to not have to prepare and clean up meals. It also allows you to get away from the crowded areas for a longer period of time. Have a great time.

When I first read the thread, in January, I realized I'd have no input, cus' I've not been off the continent, nor out of the country (I'm lame, I know) but now that I read it again. I'm wondering why your chartering large felines in the BVI?
