When you had a CB, you just had to talk with a southern accent. Don't have to do that on the internet!!

Yeah, but CB has changed as well over the years.
I keep a 5 watt handheld in our van for the drives down to FL, just to check out what's go'in on in the traffic jams (usually around Cincinatti or Atlanta), and the old lingo from the past just don't cut it any more.
Even with my pretty good fake Southern accent the 18 wheelers can spot me as a Parrothead flying south.

Weekend Waterbed
had to get rid of my waterbed we I got married- so that summer when we purchased our first boat together, named her the Weekend Waterbed. We use her mostly during the weekends and we sleep on it over night.

I'm Irish on both sides of my family and Cajun on my mom's side. So, I put Irishcajun together with phan to give it a Buffett vibe.

Well, when I first signed up here I was that guy that posted before me.
Just my initials and last name - kinda bland and boring.
Folks here morphed that into all sorts of things .... BG used to call me Regis, some did "rsg" or geisty or worse.
And then there was Mings who could never quite get the letters in the right order.
He said it just looked like a bunch of random letters so he started calling me Alphabet.
Playing along with the theme, at some point I changed my avatar to an Alpha-bits box.
A few people expressed their affection for the cereal (including BEG I think) so I decided to make "alphabits" my BN name.
So now I am bits, alpha, abc's, letters, cereal boy and the all-encompassing "dumbass".

I just went with the screenname I use for everything (taken from my favorite book ~ what can I say? I'm an overgrown kid!). I get confused having too many screennames and passwords and such so I didn't make a Jimmy-related one for this board.

I can't stand wearing shoes so I go everywhere barefoot!
