Exactly..... Its been a few near misses since 1976.... and I must say...it was worth the wait!Wino you know wrote:About 95% of the people I've talked to who've said they got to meet the HEAD PARROT said it happened because they were lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time.
So way to go, guys & gals-you'll be the envy of everybody here as long as there IS a Buffett News.

Well, I was walking from the Universal side back over to Islands of Adventure. I was was approaching M'ville I saw the lucky bunch sitting outside. They say Jimmy was inside, but when I got in he had already gone.
Charleston was there for just a few seconds, then he went into the back. I'm guessing to leave. I later found out that Jimmy had lunch at Emeril's and was just in M'ville very briefly before heading to Tallahassee.
Congrats guys. Timing is everything!!!

Excited is not the word for it.z-man wrote:Congratulations to all of you who were there for the surprise meet-and-greet! And thanx for the calls afterwards! We were driving through Georgia on the way to the TropRocsTheSmokies shows, and y'all sounded SO excited.
Well, maybe it is..just not the same excitement I was starting to feel
during the show.

I held on to Hope once ..... Hope was not amused (I believe the exact words were, "get your hands off of me, you creep!").NorthernConch wrote:Thats true as long as you can hold on to hopeToplessRideFL wrote:Some of us actually know what you mean by that statement!Marnin Grita Guy wrote:
