Conga Rats to all of you who got some face to face communication with JB. He's a very gracious and polite fella. :D

It was great to get to meet all of those that I did. Thanks for the great rum!

SPECIAL thanks to Tommy Bahama for helping me try to sell those tickets. You, sir, were in your element out there hawking tickets. 8)

The girl that I ended up giving one to, was absolutely beaming when she came out. She had driven from Jupiter alone, arriving at 4, just to hang out with some fellow JDz'ers whom she had never met (and GET IN THE CHAIR) with no idea that she would get to go inside. The look on her face at the end of the show? Priceless!

The amazing thing is that we filled it three times (and my margaritas are fairly potent) and he was still standing! :o

The wife was pointing to one of the pictures that showed Jimmy performing on the stage at the Duval Street Margaritaville Cafe and was telling her husband "See honey, he DOES come in here sometimes".

Neither one of them noticed Jimmy walking right by them.
I had to laugh when I followed your link and read the story. The part about taking care of some business upstairs ... knowing that the restrooms are what's upstairs    8)

  You know, I never thought of that, after all these years!!!  There actually is a small office upstairs with a window that overlooks the cafe. I always assumed Jimmy was going upstairs to that office to grab some paperwork, etc. (you can see that he has his briefcase with him in the photograph). Maybe he was actually visiting the other office (restroom) upstairs! No wonder it took him much longer to come back downstairs than he first told me!! Too funny!
