Sorry, I haven't seen it.

The Discovery Channel is one of those channels that I wish I could remember to flip to when I'm looking for something to watch, instead of usually settling on ESPNNEWS. They always seem to have something great on.

i am sure wikipedia shows that mike did a show on the cbs station in san francisco before he went on to the dirty jobs gig. i am betting he would prefer to be back on ...qvc .....or san francisco, rather than be doing some of the dirty jobs he had to endure.

Mike was just up here in Dutch Harbor, Alaska....to do voice over and narration for this season's "Deadliest Catch". One of my engineers ran into him in the airport in Anchorage and struck up a conversation, said that Mike got his creative inspiration while he was Poggie fishing in the Gulf.....I heard that and suggested it would be more apppropriate to name it the "Nastiest Jobs".....Dirtiest Jobs just seems too Sanitary in comparision... :o :o

I enjoy watching the show. It is getting too predictible. The poo jokes are getting old too. A lot of the jobs are not really that dirty anymore. I still watch it more for the humour. I still love mythbusters, they realized that the viewers like to see things blow up or break and they are even funnier.

The way he looks at the camera and the dry humor he has just cracks us up!!!

Last night we watched the episode with the cockroach and mouse infestation. YUCK!!!!

I had the heebie jeebies all night long.

In cleaner days, Mike Rowe sang professionally with the Baltimore Opera

I wonder if he still sings?

He has a beautiful voice---he used to sing on QVC once in a while :D

He was dating one of the models---wonder if they married?

Speaking of voice-over work for Discovery/TLC....doesn't Dylan Bruno (the guy who plays Colby Granger on Numb3rs) do voice overs for some of the car shows? Like Rides (Jason Priestly does some) and ....and, well I can't think of it, but it's about cars.

His info on Wikipedia is limited, unlike Mike's.

btw, I don't watch Dirty Jobs that often. I watched the one during Shark Week. And I saw him making a wine barrel the other day, but I haven't become addicted to that show like some of the others.

mr conched loves it.

I watched the mushroom growing show. We did that on a small scale in science class and it is nasty nasty!

I also remember some crazy kind of clam he was diggin for that I had never heard of. Interesting.

I watch bits and pieces while it's on, but it's not my "cup o tea!"

Yup, he's a Baltimoron.
And we are very proud of him.
