I'm looking for a place to spend a few days in the Panhandle in early April, Looking to find out how they have recovered from the hurricanes. Just my wife and I looking for some sun, fun and sand?? HELP!
Cheers to You and Cheers to Me, if by chance we disagree, the hell with you and Cheers to ME!

Pensacola area is fine and there is plenty to do there. I would also look at Gulf Shores, AL or Perdido Beach, AL. Here's a link:

If you visit Gulf Shores, you MUST go to the Flora Bama and I know all Buffett fans can back me up on this

Try Seaside or Grayton Beach, really lovely. Have also stayed at Sandestin resort as well as above, very big but was very nice. Liked the treehouse sort of bar there.
