I really hope Jimmy wins......but I have a strong feeling it's going to go to Johnny Cash.

Tough one, I'd vote for Jimmy first but I'd sure like to see Pat Green win, I'm a big fan of his music. As far as Alison Kraus, well, she just needs to come home with me [smilie=gt_grinz-browwiggle.gif]

As well it should be. With all due respect to Jimmy, I like the Johnny Cash better.

I think it's important that Jimmy get FAN votes at CMT.

He may not win considering he's competing against Cash, but TPTB need to see that JB has lots of fans that want his stuff played on their channel.

Of course, who said JB ever needed to win any awards to be a WINNER. :pirate:

I'm a fan but I'm also a fan of Johnny Cash, who's video I like better than Bama Breeze.

I'm a fan of Johnny Cash also.....but it wasn't *his* video.....it was his song, but it was just a video with different celebrites.

It was a posthumously released song.....not that there is anything wrong with that, I personally LOVE the song. I believe that will be the only reason it wins, out of respect for Johnny Cash.

Not at all. Jimmy doesn't deserve any CMT. How often do you see him on CMT-- Almost NEVER.

Jack Ingram is an up and coming artist who will rise to superstar status in a few years. Saw him live last summer, and the amount he puts out for a live show is amazing. I was suprised he was the opening act. But then again-- this year he has moved up on the bills that he is playing.

just like i have said about pat green....

you need to check out some of jack's earlier work. he (as well as pat) has been around for awhile and has a lot of great albums prior to them hitting mainstream country.
I must be wishing on someone else's star....

Pat Green is excellent too. His new cd is probably one of the better CDs I have heard yet this year.
