White Album???

Post by ParrotHead Elm »

OK...today's result of me having too much time on my hands:

Listening to the newly obtained 'Freddie and the Fishsticks' show, from 12/22/06, I hear Jimmy intro the Beatles medley by saying, "...we're gonna have a little flashback to the White Album' for you here..."

Jimmy, Jimmy, Jimmy, I think you have truly lost your mind this time!! :D
Everyone knows that's on Side B of 'Abbey Road.'

Reminds me of when Damone in "Fast Times at Ridgemont High" tells Rat, "When it comes down to making out, whenever possible, put on side one of Led Zeppelin IV." They cut and the song he's playing is 'Kashmir,' which wasn't off of that album!! Ah, just thinking of "Fast Times" puts a smile on my face.

Saw Fast Times just the other day. Is that possibly the worst song Jimmy Buffettt has ever recorded? I Don't Know...

Actually, the medley of tracks on Abbey Road were actually recorded for The Beatles. Almost half of Abbey Road is from The Beatles. So even though Jimmy got the album they were released on wrong, he did name the correct album incorrectly - it is just a self-titled album afterall - that they were recorded for.

No sir, that would be a five-way tie between "Elvis Imitators," "Domino College," "Fool Button," "I Used To Have Money One Time," and "Baby's Gone Shopping."

I've only ever heard the live version from that Tiki Time album. Is the studio version as bad as Take It Back, Turning Around, Cultural Infidel, Math Suks and that other one...Vampires, Mummies...?

Mitch Albom's The Five People You Meet In Heaven or Tuesday's With Morris, a nightmare if you ask me.

The "Led Zeppelin" discrepency was an inside-joke. That was intentional.

Yup, but at the time of the movie there was no internet to find such things out. Seeing the movie in the theater, we were like, "WTF???!!!!"

I don't think 'I don't Know' is that bad, especially with it being Spiccoli's theme haha...

IMO, worst Buffett songs of all time...

'Good Guys Win'
'Math Sucks'
'The Hokey Pokey'
'Elvis Impersonators'

I don't think any come CLOSE to those

What do Mitch and Morrie have to do with this?
I know along with JB Mr.Albom shares a NYT best seller list record (fiction and non-fiction) , but what's the connection to this thread?
I read a few days ago a member's post saying they didn't get your comments, count me in!
