Hubby left for school a week ago last Saturday. I knew things would be rough....and they have been. But it's getting better.

Mollie has had total Daddy meltdown. Last night she was crying in a heap on her floor. She misses him so much. As we all do. Only 9 more weeks to go. We are a 10th of the way there. He graduates the week of Easter. Her other problem, the same week Daddy left, so did her PE coach that she adored. They new one...not so much...

We all got the flu beginning last Tuesday and since it's been a hard road. Bless my Jim. He has held it together for Momma. He took the helm and drove the Big Brother ship like a pro. I'm not sure why I am so blessed with these keets but I am not questioning it!

Puppy Delaney is growing and learning but she is a lot of work, which I expected...but NOT with the flu.

Just think...by Spring, I'll have a police man for a hubby, School will be almost over and I'll have my Summer to play (and a concert SOMEWHERE to go to) Mollie will be back to normal, her face is almost healed from the fall down the back steps.. Jim will be driving alone. Delaney will be housebroken. I know, don't wish it all away but boy will it be a little easier then!

Congrats on keeping everything together--and I hope you are feeling better ASAP!!!!!

SSSSHHHHH...don't tell anyone (well, mainly my keets...we want to surprise them!) But Hubby is coming HOME for the weekend!!! We thought there would not be any home time before graduation but he is coming to Dickson on Thursday with a buddy from class. I will pick him up and have to take him back on Sunday morning for them to drive back to school. It will be the 1/2 way mark for his academy and I miss him but the kids are TOTALLY missing Dad!!! Mollie is SUCH a Daddy's girl and she has no idea. Jim keeps asking me about my "meeting" on Thursday and why I can't take his 7 y/o sister with me. (I do for girl scout service meetings and youth meetings) I keep telling him, "you're 16 and 1/2 and fully capable of Mollie-sitting"...(She gets BENT if you call it BABY sitting)


(Not to mention I get to see my man after 5 weeks... )

i give you ( and your entire family) so much credit for doing this. have a great visit.
